Mark Cavendish crashes out of Tour de France, missing outright record for stage wins

LIMOGES, France — Mark Cavendish will have to share the record for most career stage wins at the Tour de France. Competing in his final season, the ace sprinter crashed out of the race during the eighth stage on Saturday with a suspected collarbone fracture.
