The impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump has the whole world watching as lawmakers changed American history with the third-ever successful vote.

It has also doubled as a political showdown that will surely go down in the history books, memorialized not only by the transcripts, televised public hearings, and lawmakers' public statements, but also the memes.
